Android application

The app linked from this website is Disnat. The package ID is com.desjardins.mobile.disnat. The Google Play listing identifies the developer as Desjardins and describes trading in stocks and options, quotes, asset allocation, order status, and market information. The same listing says you must be a Desjardins Online Brokerage client. Install the app from that listing.

Where orders are entered

Orders are entered in the official app or on the Disnat web platforms (Disnat Classic and Disnat Direct), after you sign in there. This website cannot submit an order, display a live account, or replace a client agreement. Pricing and product lists on disnat.com control, if they differ from a summary on this site.

Costs

Reading this website is free. Google Play shows the current price of the app. At the time of writing the listing presents it as a free download. Brokerage commissions, market-data fees, and account fees are charged by Desjardins Online Brokerage under its published schedule. They are not collected by this page.

Risks and CIPF

Equities, ETFs, options, funds, and other investments can lose value. Options can expire worthless. Leverage and margin, where an account permits them, can increase losses. Quotes on a public page may be delayed. A mobile app does not remove the risk of an order entered in error, a failed network connection, or a message from someone pretending to be the firm.

CIPF may protect eligible property held by a member firm if that firm becomes insolvent, within the limits and conditions CIPF publishes. It does not protect you against a drop in the market price of a security. Read cipf.ca for the current coverage description.

Do not type a brokerage password, trading PIN, or full account number into this website or into an email.

Trademarks

Disnat, Desjardins, and Desjardins Online Brokerage are trademarks of their owner. Desjardins.com states that related marks are trademarks of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, used under licence. They are used on this site to identify the platform discussed.
