Common questions

Which Android app does this site refer to?

Disnat, the mobile app of Desjardins Online Brokerage. The Google Play package ID is com.desjardins.mobile.disnat. Install it from that listing only.

Who publishes this website?

Desjardins Securities Inc., 1170 Peel Street, Suite 300, Montreal, Quebec H3B 0A9, Canada. The firm uses the trade name Desjardins Online Brokerage for discount brokerage, and the trademark Disnat for those products and services. On disnat.com the firm identifies itself as a member of CIRO and CIPF.

Do I need a brokerage account before I use the app?

Yes. The Play listing says the app is for Desjardins Online Brokerage clients. Account forms are on disnat.com. The client-service number published there is 1-866-873-7103. This website cannot open the account for you.

Will this website ask for my password?

No. There is no client login and no field for a password, trading PIN, or account number. Sign in only inside the official app or on disnat.com. Anyone who asks you to type those details into this website is not using this site’s process.

Where do I get help with an order or a balance?

Use Desjardins Online Brokerage client service: disnat.com, including the contact, documents, and complaints pages, or 1-866-873-7103 as published on the Play listing. Questions about this website itself go to [email protected].

Does this page hold my securities?

No. This website does not custody assets and does not route orders. Securities are held in the brokerage account, subject to the firm’s client agreements. Market losses are possible. CIPF protection, where it applies, is not insurance against a fall in price.

Which email reaches the website operator?

[email protected] for questions about this website and for personal-information requests. Do not include a password in that message.
